- 4 baking potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Give the potatoes a good wash to remove any dirt or soil from the skins, then dry them really well on kitchen paper.
- Use the fork to prick the potato skins all over – this bit is important, it’ll stop the potatoes from bursting as they cook!
- Add a splash of olive oil to the palm of your hand and rub each potato skin really well with oil so that it’s all coated.
- Then sprinkle the skins with salt and rub in.
- Place the oiled potatoes into the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd the basket and make sure the potatoes are in a single layer.
- Then cook at 170C for 30 minutes. Then turn the potatoes over using tongs so you don’t burn your fingers.
- And then put the air fryer temperature up to 190C and continue to cook for a further 30 minutes or until the skins are crispy and golden and the potatoes is squishy and soft when you squeeze it. (use oven gloves to check!)
